The Brief and Creative Approach
Hail Design was approached by Brand Victoria to develop style guides and run production tests for the newly developed Melbourne brandmark.
Production tests were developed to test the quality of the logo when reproduced in a print-based medium and on new media. The resulting tests required the logo to be tweaked to allow for more space between the page motifs, to increase legibility at most sizes. It also required the development of alternative logos for special production requirements.
The resulting guidelines were created for 4 divisional units within Brand Victoria.
