The Brief and Creative Approach

Left Bank is a bar/restaurant concept developed by Emirates Leisure Retail (Australia). Already successful in Dubai and other countries across the world, the concept required a strong visual identity to match with an impressive and high-class interior.

The client’s brief to Hail was to create a feeling of influence, that hinted at what the concept would offer, was visually engaging and contemporary and that left the viewer wanting more.

Hail’s approach was to create approach photography in a new way, by using low-key lighting to suggest forms of objects (such as glasses, cutlery etc..) and to allow for creative and abstract play to keep the design contemporary. The end result allows for a mash up of styles and imagery to create a unique and eye-catching feel for the restaurant concept.
